The hotel had a central position right by Kendal, lakes and the restaurant. Besides, Miller Bridge was 6 km away from the venue. The room was airy when upgraded with a great view as well as a bath.

Breakfast was very good
Prefer to have bed and breakfast rates rather than just room rate. Bedroom was a bit on the cold side in the evenings.

The Gateway Inn offers excellent value for money, with competitive prices for its comfortable rooms and delicious food. The attention to detail in the hotel is evident, from the elegant modern country style to the friendly and professional staff. The location is ideal, slightly up a hill and surrounded by fields, making it a perfect gateway to the Lakes. The rooms provide a nice atmosphere, with king size beds, baths in double bedrooms, and good vegetarian options for breakfast. Additionally, the hotel even offered fruit as part of their breakfast menu.
All was just fine without a single flaw.
